Shot at Tunnel des Tuileries, Paris – February 2024

Personal Trainer wanted to shoot in a spot with natural reverb and we didn’t fool them: the Tuileries Tunnel is an almost 1 kilometer long concrete corridor where the echo seems infinite. We caught the amstellodammers as they got off their tour van just before their sound check and took them along the banks of the Seine. In the Netherlands these musicians have been known for other projects since they were 16, and that’s something you can tell right away. They are a real band in the coolest way, completely devoted to it, all doing their part to contribute to the touring and everything it takes to function as a band. They are also a joyous group that loves to play with shining contrats and spirited lyrics. ‘Still Willing’ is the title track of their new album coming out in August and we’re happy to be releasing this exclusive live version. To film this 7 piece band, which is always a challenge in a single long shot, we called our very own Dutch director who happened to have crossed their paths on several occasion.
